Flying Pupu Race
Donboghdor is a Quest NPC.
The Flying Pupu Race is a daily event.
Requirements: Level 20 and the ability to fly
NPC: Deng Li Duo (Donboghdor*)
Location: Eversun South (X:410 Y:41)
*in the Suba version the name is given as Deng Li Duo on the event calendar but the mistranslation Donboghdor is displayed over the NPC's head.
Flying Pupu Race
Register with Deng Li Duo/Donboghdor in Eversun South before the event starts.
When the event starts, talk to Deng Li Duo again to obtain Flying Pupu Competition Token. It will record and display your current score. Fly to Pandora's Platform in Eversun South, where Flying Pupus are flying through the air at various heights. They can be found anywhere over the Platform and the surrounding greenery to the east, west and some distance south.
Click the Flying Pupus when you are within close range to earn points. Upon successfully 'catching' a Pupu, it will fade out and disappear. New Flying Pupu targets spawn continuously. The objective is to score as many points as possible within the time limit. At the 5 minute mark (halfway the race) a system broadcast will announce the current scoreboard.
When the race is over, the Flying Pupus will disappear. Fly back to Deng Li Duo/Donboghdor to hand in your Flying Pupu Competition Token and receive your rewards.
Rules
- The event lasts 10 minutes.
- You have 30 minutes to report back to Deng Li Duo. That means you have 20 minutes after the end of the event to claim your rewards before the Competition Token vanishes.
- If you lose the token or leave the area, you are automatically disqualified.
- Only Flying Pupus found in the skies above Pandora's Platform (spawned only for the event) count. Clicking/attacking regular Flying Pupus does not award points.
Scoring
- Flying Pupu - 2 Points
- Wild Flying Pupu - 10 Points (several spawn per event)
- Mini Pupu King - 50 Points (1 appears near the end of the event)
A system broadcast announces the appearance of Wild Flying Pupu and the Mini Pupu King targets.
Rewards
Like most daily events, the rewards consist of Experience and Daily Event Scrolls, depending on your ranking.
