We should start making some
... because we have none! D:
For those who have no idea what they are, they are small boxes that appear on your userpage to describe your interests and who you are; they are commonly used on wikis. Check the Wikipedia page to read more about them.
I shamelessly copied the template from Wikipedia (see {{Userbox}}), so it's ready to be used. There exists a website called The Super Simple Userbox Maker to facilitate that.
However, I want to draft some rules or something before starting to make a few, and get some ideas on what basic userboxes should be created (I would think that most should be related to DoMO and the wiki; the languages userboxes are acceptable too). I think creating categories to group users using the same userboxes would not be a bad idea either (Wikipedia does that).
Any questions or suggestions should be made here! --D-day 18:48, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Server/version userboxes should probably be first and see where we go from there. Sections for what people like working on, wiki-wise or what tend to do in-game. I certainly don't want to get as ridiculous as Wikipedia though. In addition to my language info, I have boxes for TV shows I enjoy and my alma mater, just because the boxes exist there D: ♦SSF 04:53, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
