What Item must be in the square that says Hand - Held (left)?

- The left hand is where a shield is for jobs that can equip it. →SSF (talk) 03:04, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
No the shield must stand on the square that says shield so it must be somthing else. (Maybe duelwield?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.206.22.22 (talk • contribs)
- Dual-wield should only be there for the Daredevil class, so perhaps it's an outdated feature from P2P the same way Counter-attack is? →SSF (talk) 23:25, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- I don't believe there's any item that go in there. It's like the mouth slot. --D. (talk · contr) 23:32, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
If there is nothing to get in that square wy wouldt the make the square? so it has to be somthing! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.206.22.22 (talk • contribs)
- That's what I mean with the Counter-attack example. Things were created for the intent of expanding them for the P2P version of the game, but never fully implemented in the current F2P version. Daredevil is the only dual-wielding class and while Daredevil may be implemented as a job for players in the future, it's only utilized by monsters/NPCs at this time. →SSF (talk) 19:26, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- The difference is counter-attack skills were implemented at one point in P2P (and sorta here again in the form of slot-4 onyxes... but that's another topic), but dual-wield have always been mob-exclusive. Softstar frequently makes room for extra things that they eventually decide they will not use. The Pet equip slot being one example, where the devlog declared [1] that they will probably never implement it due to the difficulty in both design and implementation. So I wouldn't worry about that slot at all. Maybe when the planets align, they will grace us with dual-wielding jobs, but atm I highly doubt it. AKFrost 19:36, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
