Description[]
The Gallant job can be unlocked by talking to Gallant Gu Tianji (Eversun City - X:168, Y:272) while on a level 70+ Martial Artist or level 70+ Fencer.

Getting the Quest[]
The Gallant job can be unlocked by talking to Gallant Gu Tianji in the Eversun Inn (Eversun City - X:168, Y:272) while on a level 70+ Martial Artist or level 70+ Fencer.
Going to the Towers[]
Gallant Gu Tianji will give you a Gallant's Proof of Trial and request you defeat mobs from each of the towers in Placid Plain, the reason being that the four towers have become quite restless recently and the Gallant order is short-handed, so he has come to recruit more Gallant members in the meantime. If you can defeat the requested monsters, you'll prove you have the strength to be a Gallant.
Note: The Gallant's Proof of Trial will tell you which tower to go to should you forget. Note 2: Although you must be on Fencer or Martial Artist to receive and hand in each quest, you do not need to be on these jobs to defeat enemies in the towers to count towards the Gallant's Proof of Trial. (Each tower quest must be taken as Fencer or Martial Artist or they will warn you that it's too dangerous to let you continue) Note 3: Each kill does not guarantee the required crystal drop, so if you're tasked to receive 300 crystals, you may still need to kill over 1,000 enemies. As a result, don't be afraid to take the quests from the other tower NPCs as you will likely be killing a lot of monsters to complete the requirement.
Crystals are not an item that will take inventory space and can be tracked via the Gallant's Proof of Trial. Drop rates for crystals can be as low as 1:1 or much higher, an average would be around 1:2, so for 300 crystals, you may need to kill 600 monsters. This drop ratio is not guaranteed and is likely not affected by the server drop rate or mob level.
The towers you must defeat monsters in are (more details below) - you can click to mark each tower complete, but towers must be completed in the order given:

You can take quests from Mistress Ming while you farm the kills to earn White Pig Dice Chest, White Sheep Dice Chest, and White Dragon Dice Chest respectively.
Note that the nearest quest requires players to run up stairs to get to the required mob, as such if you're trying to quickly unlock Gallant, taking these quests is not recommended. |

You can take quests from Chi Yen while you farm the kills to earn White Rooster Dice Chest, White Sheep Dice Chest, and White Dragon Dice Chests respectively.
As Chi Yen is right next to the Rune Eagles and Classic Eagles, it is recommended to take the first two quests which will get you White Rooster Dice Chests and White Sheep Dice Chests. |

You can take quests from Xiao Xuan while you farm the kills to earn White Pig Dice Chest, White Rooster Dice Chest, White Sheep Dice Chest, and White Dragon Dice Chests respectively.
As Xiao Xuan is near the Elite White Tiger Soldiers, it is recommended to take the first quest. |
300 Tiger Crystals |

You can take quests from Muo Fei while you farm the kills to earn White Pig Dice Chest, White Rooster Dice Chest, and White Dragon Dice Chests respectively.
As Muo Fei is near the Tortoises, it is recommended to take the first quest. |

Eastern Dragon Tower[]
Gallant Elder Wang will insist you leave as it is unsafe unless you are on Fencer or Martial Artist. Upon talking to Gallant Elder Wang as the correct job, you'll enter a custcene where he warns you to stay away. You tell him that Brother Tianji sent you. Wang will respond saying that he asked for a Gallant. After encouraging him to recognise you as worthy of becoming a Gallant, he will request you receive 300 "Dragon's Crystal". You can now change to another Job if you wish to speed up your farming for the crystals.
When you have 300/300 crystals, return to Gallant Elder Wang and hand in the quest. Another cutscene will begin where he tells you he now approves of you and asks you to *bug* go to the Eastern Dragon Tower and talk to Elder Wang, note that you can check your Journal or Gallant's Proof of Trial to see where you actually need to go, which is the Southern Vermilion Bird Tower to see Elder Chen
Southern Vermilion Bird Tower[]
The initial cutscene with Elder Chen is very similar to the one with Elder Wang except this time you must now gather 300 "Eagle's Crystals".
As above, when you have 300/300 crystals, return to Gallant Elder Chen and report in. He will direct you to the Western Tiger Tower to speak to Elder Huang.
Western Tiger Tower[]
Similar to the above (except a bit ruder about his belief in your abilities), Elder Huang will ask for 300 "Tiger's Crystals".
As above, when you have 300/300 crystals, return to Gallant Elder Huang and report in. He will direct you to the Northern Turtle Tower to speak to Elder Fang.
Northern Turtle Tower[]
Similar to the above, Elder Fang will ask for 300 "Turtle's Crystals".
She will then point you back to Gallant Gu Tianji
Turning In[]
Return to Gallant Gu Tianji (Eversun Inn, X:168, Y:272) where he will congratulate you for gaining the approval of all 4 elders. He wishes you luck in your future as a Gallant and that's the end of the qualification!
