Hot Spring
Hot Spring Attendant is a Quest NPC.
The Hot Spring Event is an easy way to earn free experience while just sitting in the summoning pool area. You can enter this event in 2 different ways: through the calendar or talk to the Hot Spring Attendant in the Summoning Pool.
If the event has already started, you can still enter the event by talking to the Hot Spring Attendant NPC. You will be entered in 1 out of 4 areas. Changing areas is possible by talking to the Attendant.
When the event starts, you earn experience based on your current level (280 + 50 for each level above 10) every 10 seconds for the duration of the event. The event lasts 25 minutes.
You can not pet play or have your pet summoned while the event is active, as the game will remove your pet when you receive experience.
The opening hours of Hot Spring is 12:00 - 12:25 (EST) and 21:00 - 21:25 (EST) everyday. You can get in 15 minutes before the event starts using the button on the calendar, or 5 minutes before the event starts until the end of the event by using the Hot Springs Attendant NPC in the Summoning Pool.
At the end of the 25 minutes the player will be forced out of the Hot Springs. If they accessed the Hot Springs via the Attendant, they will be returned to where the Attendant is standing. If they teleported to the Hot Springs via the calender, they will be sent back to where they were when they teleported.
You can buy Hot Springs Coupons from the Item Mall to increase the experience earned. Coupons comes with different boosters from 3 to 8 times normal experience rate.

A different instance of the Hot Springs can be found in the VIP Map via Meru NPC. This one will give you less exp every 10 seconds, but will last a total of 8 hours; 22:00 - 06:00 (EST). The VIP Teleport Key must be used again to exit, however.
Bug! Unequipping the costume headpiece will cause you to gain half of the exp earned.
