Magic Accuracy, or M.ACC, is the offensive stat used to determine the odds of hitting a skill. It is a common misconception that this stat works only with magic skills, but it works with any skill, physical, magical, or even most non-damaging skills. Your current magic accuracy can be checked by going into the status window (Ctrl + A). Your base magic accuracy can be increased by spending points in the Dexterity stat. Certain onyxes can increase magic accuracy. There are no means of getting base magic accuracy on armor. Gold statted gloves can increase magic accuracy. The higher your magic accuracy, the more likely you will hit a skill.
Certain skills, such as Demonslayer Arrow, have a high chance of hitting regardless of Magic Evasion or Magic Accuracy stats. Other skills such as Purify cannot be dodged at all. Skills are also less likely to hit if the target is much higher leveled.
Magic Accuracy is also a limiting factor on most AoE skills. There is a limit as to how many enemies at a time you can hit with your AoEs, which is partially determined by how high your magic accuracy is. This can give the illusion that AoEs miss a lot, but in some cases it is because you literally cannot hit more than a certain amount of mobs at a time.
Magic Accuracy is capped at 50 from Dexterity. To get more, it must be from gear or buffs.
Note: AoE Cap is 28 mobs(supposed, with 183 MACC, tested with 75Shaman on mobs in the well, Batling/Glob/YellowGlob)
