Mysterious Old Man is a Quest NPC.

Location: Copperhorn Mountain 207,368

Mission briefing: Go to the river at Copperhorn Mountain and help the Mysterious Elder make Lizard Soy Sauce in return for access to the inn basement (or a Commoner's Spring - see below).

Tasks

1. Collect 20 Dried Lizard from Lizard Leader, Big-Lidded Lizard or Lil-Lidded Lizard.
2. Refine them by any Refiner to get 1 Dino Sauce (Master Refiner at the Ironmonger in Darkdale, or Mining Merchant in the Collection Area).
3. Return to the Mysterious Old Man.

Rewards

• 1 Commoner's Spring or Access to Inn Basement
• 1200 gold

Note: If you complete this quest before completing the Abandoned Mortuary quest, you will gain access to the Inn Basement instead of the Spring and gold. Do the quest a second time, or the Abandoned Mortuary quest to gain the spring.
