Spears can be naturally wielded by Mercenaries, and require Equip Spear from the Mercenary passive skill set to be equipped on other jobs. Mercenary Spear Attacks skills can only be used while a Spear is equipped. Most Spears add physical critical attack.

• Level 10, 30, 50: No special characteristics.
• Level 18, 38, 58: No special characteristics.
• Level 20, 40, 60: Fire elemental attribute. Strong against Metal monsters, weak against Water monsters.
• Level 23, 43: Metal elemental attribute. Strong against Wood monsters, weak against Fire monsters.
• Level 33, 53: Reduces attack speed by 1.
• Level 40: Platinum weapon. Item mall weapon. No physical critical attack.
• Level 50: Alternate weapon. Item mall weapon with slightly lower level 50 stats.
• Level 60: Master weapon. Item mall weapon with higher level 60 stats. Non-elemental.
• Level 60: HLA I weapon and HLA III weapon. Crafted by High level alchemy weapon specialists. Non-elemental.
• Level 60: Golden weapon. Item mall weapon. No physical critical attack.
• Level 60, 65, 70: Suit Weapon. Alchemy only. Recipe obtained from Forge Master. You can activate ability of suit when you wear a certain number of pieces of suit.
